A muted, deep green shade with notes of moss, forest shadow, and evergreen. The colour moves between olive and soft grey-green, carrying a quiet, almost misted quality that shifts gently with the light. It evokes still woodland ground, damp earth, and a sense of watchful calm — understated, yet full of life.

In Nutiden, the depth of the colour is enhanced by the natural variation of the wool itself: lighter and darker fibres interact, giving the yarn a living, organic surface without overpowering the eye. A colour made to endure, both visually and in the hand.

Handle: Soft, rounded, with natural resilience — well suited for garments and textiles where the material is allowed to speak for itself.

We take great pride in doing things by hand - so all blends will always be unique and will ALWAYS variate. 

Always hand-wash natural wool - always note that we do not use bleach or any other chemicals cleaning wool - therefore it will have natural materials in it - so the first rinse of water can be dirty (tip - use the water to water your plants - they will LOVE it! 

We only use certified pigments, salt and vinegar when dyeing
