100% Värmland wool in two shades ca 60 g of each = 120 g total
- The perfect spring spinning -
This week’s drop is a spinning fibre from the Swedish sheep breed Värmlandsfår – specifically from Elin’s flock.
Two shades – I’ve selected the two warmest tones we carded. This wool is washed by us at a maximum temperature of 95°C, which leaves a generous amount of lanolin in the fibre. It feels like butter to spin and leaves your hands soft as a bonus.
You’ll receive 60 g of each shade – one natural brown and one beige – for a total of 120 g of roving to spin.
I chose to ply one of each together simply because… they are both so beautiful that choosing one over the other felt impossible. So today, a blend is the way.
