The beauty in the sad situation 

A nuanced violet with a softened, heathered depth — moving between lavender, dusk-purple, and cool grey. The colour carries a quiet complexity, where lighter and darker strands weave together to create a gentle, almost murmuring surface rather than a single clear tone. It feels reflective, subtle, and quietly expressive.

In Nutiden, the wool’s natural variation allows the colour to unfold slowly: pale fibres lift the surface while deeper violet tones anchor it, creating a balanced, lived-in harmony. It is a shade that reveals its character over time — never demanding attention, but rewarding it.

Always hand-wash natural wool - always note that we do not use bleach or any other chemicals cleaning wool - therefore it will have natural materials in it - so the first rinse of water can be dirty (tip - use the water to water your plants - they will LOVE it! 

We only use certified pigments, salt and vinegar when dyeing
