Winter slush

A pale, greyed violet as its primary tone — cool and subdued — with washed traces of rust and soft brown drifting through the surface. The colour feels diluted and weathered, like purple fabric muted by snowmelt and cold light, where warmth has faded but not disappeared. The rust notes remain secondary, more suggestion than statement.

In Nutiden, the interplay between violet and pale rust is softened by the wool’s natural variation. Lighter fibres lift the colour, while muted undertones create a hazy, shifting depth that changes gently with the light. It is a colour of transition and quiet endurance — restrained, reflective, and calm.

Fibre: Finewool crossbred wool

Handle: Soft with gentle structure, offering warmth without heaviness — well suited for garments and textiles where nuance, surface, and subtle colour shifts are meant to be noticed over time.

We take great pride in doing things by hand - so all blends will always be unique and will ALWAYS variate. 

Always hand-wash natural wool - always note that we do not use bleach or any other chemicals cleaning wool - therefore it will have natural materials in it - so the first rinse of water can be dirty (tip - use the water to water your plants - they will LOVE it! 

We only use certified pigments, salt and vinegar when dyeing
