Multi colored! A soft, light grey grounded in undyed wool tones, gently animated by fine flecks of colour — muted rose, pale violet, and faint earthy notes scattered throughout the surface. The overall impression is calm and balanced, where no single shade dominates, but everything contributes to the whole.

In Varv, this colour comes alive through the yarn’s distinctive structure. The twist gathers spun and textural elements into a tactile, sculptural surface, allowing the subtle colour variations to appear and disappear as the yarn moves. It is a shade that feels inclusive and steady — complex without being busy, quiet without being plain.

Varv is a twist on our nutidenyarn - all is still 100% Swedish wool and Swedish made - but with a twist - a unique twist on spun and unseen yarn mixed into a very special yarn. 

Varv comes in different thicknesses -

Notera/ please note :  

We take great pride in doing things by hand - so all blends will always be unique and will ALWAYS variate. 

Always hand-wash natural wool - always note that we do not use bleach or any other chemicals cleaning wool - therefore it will have natural materials in it - so the first rinse of water can be dirty (tip - use the water to water your plants - they will LOVE it! 

We only use certified pigments, salt and vinegar when dyeing
